made from a kit from Moda, this is for my best friends new baby, Mathew Rupert Peter, born thismorning. Cheesy

I pleased enough with it, - all hand quilted,  after a lost my temper with the machine (still have not mastered machine quilting)

The corners went horribly wrong too.....possibly one too many glasses of wine of Christmas  Grin

Overall, its says "i love you little fella" and what more could a new baby ask?

Really cute, you did a great job.  One of my favorite kids books and my 11 mo loves it too now!  Looks great I am sure your friend will love it.

It's beautiful!  I love that you're introducing children's literature in his earliest (and likely to be most treasured) posession.  Baby blankets are always special, but this one is extrodinary.

So cute, that's a theme you can love from baby to adulthood. I always have much respect for hand quilting.

This is awesome!  If you can, I'd love to see some pics more close-up of the butterfly, caterpillar, food, etc.  It looks amazing!

What a neat idea for a quilt.  I've always loved the artwork in that book and art you can cuddle a baby in is even better!
