haven't posted on here in a while actually. but sweet work on these everyone that made them!

silly question possibly but where would i be able to get the polyester resin? i know i can order it online, but my girlfriend occasionally decides she wants to get into knitting and wants me to teach her but isn't super into it. if i can pull of making her a pair of needs by christmas to have for her in her stocking with a ball of yarn i think she'll stick with the idea of learning a bit more since she'll have her own and the needles will have been made by me Cheesy so i was wondering if it's possible to get it at joann's, a.c. moore or hellmart? maybe home depot or lowes or harbor freight? there's a boat supply store by me but from memory i think they only have epoxy resin.
thanks for any help

whoa!  way cool!  Could you maybe do branches if they are straight, at least?  I thought that would be kind of cool, knitting with branches :p

What is the curing time for the fat ones? I poured a batch on Wednesday and it's Friday and those babies will not budge out of the straw. Am I being too impatient? Do they need a few days to cure?

I love personal swaps, I currently need art (paintings or something to hang on a wall) but I'd be up for anything.

I cut them out. Which really wasn't horrible at all. It's just such a super waste of the plastic mold.
