Boring boxers --> FUN BOXERS! I'm a girl so I wear these to sleeeep.

I made these jellyfish boxers from an old pair of boxers, some buttons from a garage sale 80s gold shirt, beautiful pink plaid wool and a bunch of random ribbons and pieces of lace. They are not just inspired but totally copied from http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10675626, Aorta's etsy store. I give all credit to him/her for his/her sick jelly fish.

I love wearing these around my dorm because everyone laughs as my jelly fish tentacles swish around and move a lot.

My favorite vegetable is the one and only artichoke and since it is rare nowadays to find a fellow lover of artichokes or even someone who knows what they are or how to eat them, I decided to commemorate the divine artichoke on my boxers. I cut out all the leaves and arranged them in a sandwich of water soluble fabric with pins. I then pinned it onto the boxers, sewed all over it with different shades of green, threw them in the sink to dissolve the plasticness and waahhlaa-new and improved boxers.

Good Morning.  I am so not a sewer (except hand hemming and replacing buttons) but I loved your comments about artichokes.  I am also a lover of artichokes and can eat them anytime, anyplace.  I have also a husband and a daughter who enjoy them whenever I cook them.  In fact, I've been known to hide the leftovers from my daughter.  I have been a New Englander since birth but have said many times that I would move to CA only to be near the artichoke farms.  Nice to  know there are others out there who feel the same way I do.  Have a great day!

Awesome appliques! I love these boxers. I really like the chaos stitch you used on the artichoke. You are an awesome artist Smiley

Both are way cute!! The jelly fish would be wicked on a purse!! I love your color choices & the artichoke is really neat. I've only had artichoke once and it was a soup that was delicious! (I really want to try making some artichoke soup  at home but have not gotten around to finding  a recipe Tongue) so I'm guessing that it is great anyway you cook it!
