calluna, I like the overall symetry of your mail holder, it really works with the 3 panels.  cool idea, I assume its made of metal underneath?

I made ribs in my crock pot tonite with the most amazing Dr.Pepper bbq sauce (dr. pepper, chili sauce, cherry pie filling, onions and garlic, molasses, brown sugar and raspberry balsamic) sounds gross, but it really was good.  I don't like ribs so I just had sauce and rice Cheesy

Mmm, these recipes sound yummy!

My amazing husband finished our trip photo summary and I modified it to add all the crafty goodness. Here's a link to everything.

http://picasaweb.google.com/asphaltqueen

A few notes...

1. Our trip is in chronological order starting at the bottom.
2. Some photos have commentary, others don't.
3. To view a folder, click on it. Then click "Slideshow" in the upper left hand corner. If you want to slow the photos (or actually read the captions), you should increase the timing at the bottom. Just click the plus sign a few times.
4. If you want to feel like you visited Peru (or you just really like to live vicariously), go through the whole trip in order.
5. If you just want the crafty stuff, I suggest checking out "Umasbamba", "Road to Urumbabmba/Pottery Place", and "Puno/Lake Titicaca".
6. If you want local culture, check out "Urubamba Market" and "Cusco Local Market".
7. It goes without saying that "Machu Picchu" is a must-see folder. (Especially if you like llamas and/or Inkan ruins.)

We'll be leaving this trip summary up for a few weeks, then we'll be making it private (to prevent the photo-jackers). Please note that all photos are copyrighted by me and my husband, but if you see something you like, let me know.  Wink

And if anyone has any questions about our trip, pm me. This was the most amazing trip and I'm happy to talk about it!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

I need my crabby pins from atsuko this morning!  I am "in a mood!"  This, despite the fact that I wandered through Macchu Picchu this morning before coming to work!  I think I am just tired of 12 hour work days!  Okay, that's enough complaining!  Smiley

Ok, I am very strongly fighting the urge to come back and play again.  I have a ton of supplies I need to destash, and I could probably scrape together 5 crafted items.

But, but, but....

I fear the madness....... Grin

OMG!!  Raynbow!!  Yes, come back!!!  You know you want to.  Come back to the madness!

I think I need a crockpot.  You gals started me looking online and of course I found a great one and expensive WS one.  Now I have to wait for a special occasion like my hubby's Bday to justify buying it.  LOL.

AQ!  I have to wait until tomorrow when I am at work to look at your pics.  I have dialup at home.  Sad  Crazy, eh.  Well we are thinking of switching...but no cable!

Now I understand why mullerslanefarm has the "fiber enabler" title -- I have been blessedly spoiled/spoilt with so much roving! I'm going to get started with the spinning again tonight, so I can become a spinster in every sense of the word!  Grin
