I wanted to crochet something for my dentist: enamel? dental floss? gingivitis? I chose the simpler route and made this tooth:

Toothy is made from four small cone shapes that are stitched together, then built up with single crochet stitches:

The dentist office enjoyed the gift, though I hear their younger patients have tried walking away with Toothy.  So along with guarding kids from tooth decay, my dentist is now guarding a tooth from kids.

Remember to brush and floss daily!

So cute! The next one could have a little black hole as a cavity and be disgruntled. Heehee. I need to make one for the boyfriend's sister who's studying to be a dentist.

Thanks!  Toothy must be sensing the good wishes right now, even from his home on the dentist office counter.

Mochaxlight, a disgruntled tooth sibling with cavities would make a fun diabolical match!

P.S. Your avatar/self-portrait (yep, I checked out your blog. The ice cream cones are CUTEEE!) is awesome. I love all the details.

That tooth is cute! My kids wanted one instantly (in case I find an empty crafting slot on my list before they're grown Smiley )
I also love your avatar!

Thanks, my Woomi avatar is grateful!

I hope your kids get their own Toothy.  Wouldn't it be cool if the toothfairy delivered tiny crochet teeth instead of coins? Smiley

I love how the second pictures shows him infront of a sign that says "new patients welcome."  That is both super cute and super hilarious.

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.
