Here is an BIG afgan I just finished for my 6 year old son, who is a star wars nut!!!  I think he said it's a storm trooper not sure though.  I hope ya'll enjoy.  It took me FOREVER .  It is completely black.  If you can't see it clearly squint your eyes a little.

It's almost as big as a queen size quilt.

Thanks for the reply, I had to Google queen size quilts as we have different sizing over here  Grin it's very impressive, my oldest brother would love it I don't think his wife would be too happy though *lol* Do you have plans for anymore graph afghans? I've only used a colour chart once and I made mistakes  Roll Eyes

I don't know if I'll do another one that big but I do enjoy filet crochet so I'm sure I probably will, but no plans just yet.

I use a ruler and two clothes pins to help me keep track of what line I am on.  Then I mark the beginning of the line with an arrow going in the direction I am working.  That just helps keep me from making too many mistakes.

LOVE IT! I love this afghan. My mom-in-law would too. She's a bigger Star Wars geek than my husband and I.
Wonderful trooper likeness.  Smiley
