Gorgeous bag!  Love the recycling/reclaiming part, and love the owls even more.  Plus, I think I have the same hutch in my dining room! Wink  Very nice job.

That is one big bag, but way cute. Did your niece know it was intended for her?
No.  She helped me make it.  Then I gave it to her.  She put the buttons on the eyes of the owls.

Just to be clear, Wonder Woman, you made like 60 or so bags around Christmas time AND a throw for the teacher.  Yeah, you are making the rest of us look bad.  I love the ginormous bag and all of your others of course.  Thanks so much for the tute, I must've missed it the first time you posted it.  Not that my machine would tackle the leather belts though.

People have asked "how do you get all this done?"........you should see my house.  I would have greeted you at the end of my driveway.  It is not so bad now but 3 days before Christmas I was using a shovel.

DiVina//DeNuevo .............Very Cute!!!  I love it.  This does not look felted.  Is it?  I have a friend that has a cotton sweater from her father who passed away.  She wants me to make a bag for her out of it.  I have never done one with a cotton sweater.  I think I may need a serger.

That makes me feel better.  I just don't see how creative people can have clean houses!!!  On a happy note my darling hubby got me a cleaning lady for Christmas, guess he couldn't stand the mess either.  LOL.

Oh good grief!  I'm going back to school to become a teacher so I can get an awesome throw!  (I'll have to move too - hope your son won't be in college by then.) Wink  That is truly amazing - are those all sweater scraps from your bags?  I have to tell you I wanted to try your tut but it is impossible to find a wool sweater in a southern Cal. thrift shop!  I'll keep looking though!  I've gotten more compliments on my Cindygert bag - from total strangers - you are amazing
