I Love your bag and your creativity.
The title you wrote for this cracked me up. Cool

Just one little question for ya'.
Do you think that little niece will be able to carry it once she gets it full of 'stuff'?

Both the gal and your bag are adorable!

Interesting bag ! In the good way! And the owls are just in place there. How did you do them? Did you knit them ? Or they are part of another sweater? Grin

There's a tutorial for these? .. yay! I'm looking for it now.  I have a stash of pure wool sweaters, that I am saving for a large felted throw, but they certainly are few and far between in thrift stores - I'm pretty sure I've never found a 3X.  That was super lucky and you made great use of it!

Do you have a link to the tute?  I'm having difficulty finding it.

Thanks!!  I like your way of spelling patootie better than my way.

I did ask her several times if she would really use the bag.  She goes to college and she travels alot back to her house so she will be able to put all of her stuff in it to transport....and more.  She is a dear sweetheart of a girl.  Thanks!!

Thank you thank you!!

It seems to me the uglier the sweater, the cuter the bag.  I dont know why.....same goes for belts.  The more worn the better I like them.

Thanks.  It really kept me warm while I was making it.

The owls came from another part of the sweater.  Then I cut them out and sewed them on.  Thanks for your comment.

I have a tutorial on here for sweater bags.  Not this exact bag but.  It is actually  linked to my website because there are about 60 pictures that would have taken me forever to upload to here.

I may have to put a tutorial on how to make a throw too

I made this for my son's teacher for Christmas this year.  It turned out better than I thought it would.  I asked the teacher to list 40 of her favorite things.  Then I let the kids decorate each square.  They had more fun with the straight pins than anything else.  She loved it.

That is one big bag, but way cute. Did your niece know it was intended for her?

Just to be clear, Wonder Woman, you made like 60 or so bags around Christmas time AND a throw for the teacher.  Yeah, you are making the rest of us look bad.  I love the ginormous bag and all of your others of course.  Thanks so much for the tute, I must've missed it the first time you posted it.  Not that my machine would tackle the leather belts though.
