here are my goodies from UntouchableFace...f irst off... this sun catcher...I loved the one she had made for another swap and she made me one! love it!  this polyclay covered ornament which is beautimus and I suck at picture taking! this awesome button picture frame ( I luuuuuuuuve buttons!) think I'll put a little fun crafty quote in there and the extra craftster love...  (Mister Octo was having some slithering issues so she sent him back to me to fix the little turd. I'll be sending him back Tuesday...)  UntouchableFace! you are an incredible swap partner and I love everything!  Thank you Superhooker for organizing such a great swap!

I received a beautiful package from Pinkleo this week.  (My apologies for keeping you all waiting for pictures, but my opera is taking over my life.)  Dear Pinkleo decided to break up her swap packing into two parts, so family members wouldn't steal my presents!  And very glad I am that she did... :-)  Here are the goodies from the first package she sent.  (And wow, have I been spoiled!)

A stunning Tree of Life pendant:


A group of Twilight bracelets!  (Pinkleo assures me I'm not too old to love Twilight.)  From left to right they represent La Push, Forks, and dear Edward:


An awesome Harry Potter charm bracelet based on the scene in Sorcerer's Stone, when Harry has to catch the winged key to get to the stone:


A beautiful little emerald green potion pendent, which I like to think is full of the potion from the cave in book six.  You may say that's sad, but I think both Harry and Dumbledor would have approved of something that reminded one of the importance of searching for knowledge and truth. 


An adorable HP bookmark, with a scene from The Goblet of Fire:


And finally, the most stunning blanket!  Something Molly Weasley might whip up to keep her family warm and snuggly. 


I have been curled up in this every moment that I've been home since I received it.  I've even been sleeping with it.  :-)


THANK YOU PINKLEO!  I've been so dreadfully spoiled, I don't know what to do with myself.  I loved crafting for you, and would be honored to swap with you again, anytime, anywhere, any theme!  Hehehe...

Oh wow, everyone has received such wonderful packages - and I'm no exception!  The fabulous Oneredboot sent me a package that absolutely blew me away.  The thoughtfulness, care, and skill that she put into it are all amazing.  Prepare your wisting buttons!

Everything together: knitting bag, needle roll, coffee sleeve, hat, and scarf.


The knitting bag and needle roll.  I've recently started knitting and have been participating in "knit nights" with my friends.  These will be perfect for toting around my projects!  They are beautifully made and I love the fabric.

Next up, the coffee cup sleeve.  Oneredboot made this specifically to fit my travel mug, which has very strange dimensions.  The yarn is made out of recycled plastic bottles - how cool is that?  We were crafting with two broad themes in mind, "simple pleasures" and "sustainability," and I think she nailed both of them.


Finally, the hat and scarf.  The photos simply don't do justice to these.  They are so beautiful and I'm so appreciative of all the work Oneredboot must have put into them!  I've been wearing the scarf practically non-stop since I opened it.  Both are lovely, soft, and warm - the perfect thing to get me through the rest of winter.  The color is a bit off in this picture; they are actually a richer blue (more like the group shot).
