She's named after the show's creator, whose Chinese name is Kai-Lan.  Smiley

I have no idea why they named her after a veggie, though.  Smiley

adorable dolly!

I love that spaghetti too.

I would totally love a set of those canisters for my kitchen (and put real canisters inside them to be functional!)

Wistin' fingers ready, I have photos (at last!!!) of my wonderful, wonderful package from A2K.  It's all brilliant, so in no particular order....

Knitted/felted bag with a snap-lock closure.  Love the red button - it really works well against the dark colours.

3 uterly cute appliqued tablecloths adorned with stiching, buttons and beads - unfortunately photographed in a really odd scrunched-up position in an attempt to show off all the designs in one photo!

Four placemats, which are perfect for my green dining room, and a magnificent A4 sized unlined notebook. I have poetic pretensions, and the notebook is for that.  The cover is made from many tiny bits of vintage fabric, appliqued onto the cardboard with some crazy machine embroidery.

Washcloths and crochetted scrubber:

Aaaand.... epic socks!  These fit perfectly and I LOVE them.

(Ignore the podgy unshaved legs sticking out of them!)

Thank you so much, A2K, it's all brilliant!
