As a wife to a guy with Asperger's syndrome, I find that book incredibly awesome.  What a great way to educate and express yourself at the same time.

And also, that rug would never get laid on the floor in my house - I'm with A2K, hang it up!

That rug is super-cool! I'd totally hang that up on a wall as artwork. I'm getting ready to wist it right now.

And I love the journal/book. It's amazing on many levels, and I learned a lot just from the few pages that were posted here. Thank you so much for sharing that portion of your life with us. Wink

Such an awesome package.  I cannot help but applaud all the mental work that had to go into the journal.  Explaining how the world feels is a horribly difficult prospect, and it came through with clarity & beauty (in what I see in the pics).  The rug looks amazing and seems comforting in texture.

A rare and valuable gift...insight.  Grin Grin  Wonderful job, Nobodyhasthisoneyet .  Forgive me if I went overboard in my comments.

i recieved from her today as well but in my excitement i gave the one piece to its intended as soon as i opened the package. so i have to go chasing pictures lol
Too funny. That's ok, it just means things are well-loved already, right? Cheesy

I enjoyed using the quilt tonight while watching tv on the couch. The soft fleece backing makes it warm and fuzzy and the turtles are just so darn cute. Plus, the little jigsaw puzzle pieces fascinate me. I found myself just looking at how all those little bits and pieces and corners and shapes come together.

Have I mentioned how much I love it yet? Grin

I have 2 children with aspergers so I can relate to the book- do think of a way of publishing something!! It would be a great way for others to understand Smiley.

I agree with sajona!  A book like this is a MUCH needed resource for parents and educators as may be comforting to those with ASD!
