This is made out of fabric scraps from my stash and it is easy to make.

The DVD fits inside like so, then you lace it up, which discourges the recipient from peaking if it is under the tree.

If you would make one to give someone not at your home, you could have the opening at the top and have it velcro or snap shut.

I didn't finish the cuts into the fabric on this bag due the Shrek theme, but you could bind them to make them more durable and for a more constructed and elegant look.

Here is a guitar shaped gift bag made from scraps of paper and a page out of a magazine.

Here is a How-To I posted at Cut Out and Keep:

I also sewed a corseted reusable DVD wrap from cloth scraps and will try to post on here if I get a chance to before the deadline tonight as I need to take pictures of it.

I posted some of these previously, but will post them for entry along with additional creations.  They are all from recycled magazine pages, paper, glue stick, and markers and they are simple enough that even grade school children could make.

These are plastic grocery bags tied and decorated:

It was inspired buy this post at Cut and Keep:

Very stylish!

Stylist and designer, a fashionista with a subversive streak. I believe that fashion should be fun and fortifying, not mean or oppressive.

Thanks for the compliments.   Kyle ended up with 29 presents (I know because he would come home and count them every day when he got home from school).  Only reason he got that many is he has asked for used VHS, DVDs and books and a cool with getting a lot of Halloween clearance items because he knew he would get more that way.
