The very nice guys at twokidsinagarage.co m graciously allowed me to use some of their icons here on Craftster.  In return they asked that I help spread the word about their favorite charity

Gorilla Haven
http://www.gorilla-haven.org/

Gorilla Haven (GH) will provide a safe “haven” and/or temporary holding facility for zoo gorillas in need. In addition, the GH property can be used for educational camps or programs in conjunction with schools or universities.

GH is on 324 acres in the North Georgia (Blue Ridge) mountains, with potential facilities for gorillas and keepers in a private, secluded and temperate climate. GH is less than a two hour drive from Zoo Atlanta and the Knoxville Zoo, and an hour+ from Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I figured it would be nice to start a thread about this here and see if we can come up with any crafty ways to raise awareness and/or moolah for this organization.

So if you've got any ideas, please respond here!

That organization is awesome.  The article about bushmeat horrified me though Cry.  Why would anyone eat a primate?  It's just wrong and disgusting.
I have no idea how to raise awareness though.  Maybe make gorilla plushies and attach a pin with the website on it, then give it to someone?  Make sure the gorilla looks really sad to emphasize the point.  I can't really think of anything else Undecided.  I hope more people have something to add to this thread.
