here are some pics of the first felt cake jewelery box that I made with this neat little kit that mother picked up for me on one of her many trips into Richmond ( we are currently living in BC) for good chinese food.

My basement is currently under renovation as mother dear decided to re-org. everything over the holidays, so I was feeling a bit creatively repressed not being able to sew anything with my workspace deconstructed. I decided to crack open the kit and locked myself in my room with my laptop and sewing box. Wink

I made a template of all the parts that it came with for future use, as well as adjusting it, b/c the pieces that they give you need seem to have a need to be trimmed to fit each other as you go, which was somewhat annoying but crucial in the end.

time: 10 hours (handstitching....so time consuming! D: ) made on a night when I should have been studying. >_>

------------------------------------EDIT
TUTORIAL:
ALL of the parts of the tutorial is now posted on my DA page--->
