long time no post!
fashion school has kept me busier than I could imagine, but since I don't have any love interests or many friends at school, Valentine's Day gave me time to make a shirt.

The pattern is Simplicity 3535... JSYK: Joann Fabrics are having an AMAZING sale on Simplicity patterns until the 16th: 5 for $5! so I absolutely snapped those up. It's done in a clearance fabric from Joann as well.

The back pleats are extremely off center (and so is the picture); I would've fixed it but I didn't realize how off they were until I had already topstitched, and I didn't feel like undoing and redoing it all.

Me trying to be cute; and to show it belted.

Let me know what you think!

That is super adorable, and I LOVE your hair!

Also, thank you for the 5 for $5 tip! I will definitely be dropping by to pick up a few of them!

well, you succeeded with the cuteness! i really like that top, that fabric was a perfect choice for it. thats one of those fabrics i would probably never think about buying, but once i see it made into something, i love it. happens to me all the time, guess i just dont have a good eye or something

please visit my etsy shop. i love it when people buy my crap!

That's a really cute top. Where did you get your necklace? It looks vaguely familiar. I'm the same way with fabrics skaborsk, but I can pick out fabrics for quilts just fine. Go figure.

Yay finally done moving!

thank you all.

pinky yarn: i have no idea where i got my necklace; it's something i found in my jewelry box one time.

i probably wouldn't have chosen that fabric either, but when i found that pattern, it had the shirts in some different patterns so i meandered around the clearance section for a patterned sheer, and i thought it would be cool
