FIRST POST LOL

*cough* I should probably use the 2008 thread for this, but it's 2009! I'm glad that miyoko is getting better, and it was nice to meet sproutattack (even if it was only for a few minutes!).

I'm excited about the next meetup. Let's try to get four people.  Wink

Anyone have any preference to where to meet next? I liked being down on Division around New Haven Coffee. I guess it counted as the Hawthorne/Hollywood district? I'm so glad I found the Village Merchants, that's such a super cool store. But, I would like to see more of Portland, so I'm open to suggestions.

They are super sweet there. Have you guys thought about rotating days too? It's really hard for me to come on the weekends cause I work so I was wondering if it's really hard to meet on a week night? If it is, maybe I can take a day off and meet up with you guys.

any day every other week is good for me.  plus, most mornings (except I'm not super functional before 10am).  miyoko works fairly normal office hours so weekends are the best for her.  i think automaton's schedule's probably a bit less regular than me or miyoko's.  gothfox's is a bit more flexible even though her boss is a big mean disciplinarian that never lets her come out and play  Wink

If we keep up with the regularish schedule, the next meetup would be Saturday the 17th of January.  I'm gonna be out of town though, that weekend.  So if you want to meet that weekend, I'm out. If anyone wants to get together that Wednesday or Thursday I'd be down.

I think I should be getting next week's schedule on Thursday. Hopefully, I can make it.

My schedule will probably be changing week to week, but I've got my fingers crossed that it won't. Meeting on a weekday night should work for me most of the time though.

How about Wednesday then, the 14th of January?  I'm open all day, but it sounds like afternoon or evening might be best for other folks.  Haven's roomy and somewhat centrally located, but Sproutattack's got a sewing/craft room in north Portland (was it Mississippi??).  And there's Twisted on NE Broadway, which has amazing yarns.  Where do you guys wanna meet?

I can do evening, but if afternoon is best for everyone else I can always meet up next time.

Haven would be easiest for me to get to from Gresham, but anywhere is fine.
