Hm maybe I forgot to put something in the package? How annoying. I was sure it was in there.

It looks exactly like this:

And it's used like this:
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j70/pixi-ixiq/aug07077.jpg

Argh. Dammit. How annoying!

Oh, no! That definitely wasn't in the package! I've seen those before, at craft fairs but I've never actually tried one.

Ok so here are the pictures from last night. These are pictures of Danni opening the package I gave her. At the time, it made sense for me to take pictures of her opening her package, kinda like at a birthday party haha. SO she will be posting the package she gave me in her post. So again, this is MY package TO Danni.

First of all, here's a pic of me and Danni waiting for a table at the sushi restaurant we went to

This is Danni + her SO

This is me + my DH

NOW on to the package!

First of all, a hefty stack of fabric, most of which are 1+ yard

Then I got her some Yarn, mostly caron simply soft

A hot glue gun, glue sticks, and some interfacing (could you believe she didnt already have her own glue gun?! lol)

Secondly, this is something Danni and I decided to do just because we both love cooking. We each made each other a "scrapbook cookbook". Here's what i made her, a simple binder with cooking mama on the cover lol

Thirdly, since it was valentine's day, I made her some blondie cakes and cup cakes in a heart shaped tin and got her some dark chocolate

Fourthly, a local yarn & fabric store is going out of business Sad but i took advantage of it and bought items for her DIY kit, and I couldn't resist making a crochet & knit caddy to go along with it and I couldn't wait til march to give it to her.
So here it is, a crochet & knit caddy with crocheted cotton compartments including a spiral hook holding compartment, it also contains a couple of plastic hooks, a small scissors, a retractable tape measure, a pair of size 8 straight needles, size 10 circular needles, and a couple of afghan/tunisian crochet hooks.

Fifthly, some more assorted supplies and items. Includes 2 local keychains since i forgot to include local items in our last package. There's also a goofy amigurumi heart for valentine's day, a random miniature safety cone that says "Fabulous!", Artist Trading Card supplies, D rings, pens, button pins, and a small bag that it was all in.

SIXTHLY, more local postcards and a wall decal about family she can put on her wall

AND FINALLY, a chocolate brown puff stitch hat

Wow, that's some package. I want a hot glue gun, Grin and I covet the yarn. The knitting caddy is a great idea. I have of one of those plastic  caddies on my desk - it might get converted for knitting supplies.

I finally found my camera, photo of the first package:

note the photo is missing the chocolate bar Linnybelle sent me. In the back is the cool quilted scrapbook, going spiralling clockwise there's two mini plushies, 2 lengths of ribbon, flamingos and whales, a bag of buttons, the card she sent me with an envelope made from a sewing pattern, 2 postcards, some recipes, a leaf brooch and a michigan ornament in the front.

Package two (received Friday):
I got a massive WIP bag with plenty of pockets, a huge crochet hook roll that I have already started filling and a pincushion. All of which is going to get lots of use.

The wrapping was great too,

and finally:

a sweet bag, a stack of handmade cards and two quilted bookmarks

Such wonderful things!

I've been completely spoilt by edel with my second package!

Behold!

Bag in the style of my artwork...so cool!
Tree of life earrings, the cutest tea cosy ever, chicken egg cozy & fab spotty eggcup, button heart decoration and a huge stack of papers and ephemera!

A closer look at the bag, teacosy, chicken & beaded tree earrings...

Huge array of paper & ephemera!! Perfect!

It missed the group photo, but it's a box of awesome whimsies!

Action shot of the fabulous bag!

Excuse the crumpled attire, I've been making paper.

And because he couldn't resist...phizzyblok e modelling the teacosy Roll Eyes

Looks like a freaky wrestler! Cheesy

Thank you so much edel, I love everything! You are such a wonderful and thoughtful partner! Kiss

I am sooo glad you like it, I have to say that bag was hard to part with, I really do like your artwork and I liked how it turned out. I especially like that the randomn piece of vintage wool blanket that I dyed as a test piece turned out to be the perfect colour and texture for the base of the applique.

I can definitely understand not wanting to part with the bag, but I'm glad that you did! Wink The green panel is such a wonderful shade, and very tactile!
