I want to join this so badly it hurts, but my boyfriend wants me to take a break from swapping after I finish the current ones. Hmm... Maybe the incentive of baked goods would change his mind? Cookie ingredients are pretty much standard in our kitchen full time. The three men I live with all like their sweets, and I'm the only one who bakes....lol

Well I will wait and see I don't want to impose on them another 3-way swap if they would rather a regular one this time  Smiley

You should join crafty-minou!!  I don't mind doing a 3-way, I'll even have 2 partners.  Whatever works for you guys is cool with me.   Smiley

Ok, just to clear up some confusion....I can bake. I can bake very well in fact. I've not done many cookies, but I can do it. But it warms my heart to hear from people who would work with my baking handicap if I had one. Everyone here is absolutely wonderful, I am so glad I joined such a wonderful community.

I must go for now, but I will be sending in my info tomorrow morning. Grin

You know the fastest way to a man's heart is through baked goods, right?  Tongue

So true!  Maybe I can use my "second" batch of cookies that I get to lure in a man.  Hehehe.  Am I the only single one so far that's participating?

Seriously, home baked vegan goods are SO much better than purchased pre-made vegan goods some of those can be icky!  I find when you control what you put in it, the goods are delicious!!

As a side note, Missmuffcake, I'm now cooking two vegan meals a week and we just made our first batch of seitan...I still have some practicing to do, but it came out ok...I know what I need to do differently next time!  Smiley

I really dislike most baked goods from vegan places, they are usually way to dry or just off. My boyfriend complains to. I think people who have baked goods vegan style at a place will have nothing but negatives to say until they try homemade!

I try to get the boyfriend to eat more vegan meals and for the most part it works out. I think we just have two different types of tastes, I am more exotic while he is on the bland side. One of my goals is to learn how to make tamales this year.

Is there anyone else from the UK signed up? I'd hate to get paired with someone in America and have my cookies arrive ten years later in the form of dust xD...

I'm in the UK and said the exact same thing a few posts earlier, I want to join but didn't think my biscuits would survive the flight! If you are thinking of joining I definitely will!
