Hey kids, I saw this Christmas Craft Fail video via College Humor today, and I just had to share here:

I hope that your last minute crafting isn't going this poorly!

That's a pretty funny video, stoliedina!

I got some sewing done after all!

This cape and mask is for my 3-year-old's costume trunk (her Nana is making the trunk, but due to weather it won't be here in time for Christmas). She's been begging me for a while now to make her a costume to be "a super" AND a cape like the prince on Sleeping Beauty AND a magician's cape.  This knocks out a few costumes in one blow.  I drew out the patterns myself.

This is a ninja costume requested by both the daughter and the hubby.  I still have to figure out some way to make a ninja hood/mask.

I also made two wheat pillows with lavender and a bit of eucalyptus.  I bought one when I was in college for $30 and love it!  Of course, I made mine for a lot less than that!  I used plain muslin for the pillows and snuggle flannel (from JoAnn's on Black Friday!) for the covers. They are for my dad and his wife.

Feel better stoliedina!

I am still crafting away, but at the tail end (good thing, eh?). I haven't had the time for pictures, maybe after Christmas. I finished a pair of fleece pants for my baby, a whole set of matching flannel jammies for my three kids, two more monogrammed pillowcases and a super awesome (if I do say so myself) tea party play mat inspired by http://xxsweetfancyxx.blogspot.com/2009/08/coopers-tea-party.html. Phew! This is the most crafting I have EVER done for Christmas. I love that the Crusade gives me an extra boost to get stuff done! Merry Christmas, everyone!!

Forgot to add, I love the 'super' cape!!! And the ninja outfit...he,he. My husband tells my kids all the time 'Did I ever tell you about that time back in ninja training school....' and I tell him that someday our kids are going to go to school and tell the other kids their daddy is a ninja  Roll Eyes

Hear hear!  Despite starting in January, I still had too much last minute crafting for peace of mind. I'll do better next year!

Hi everyone! A very Merry Christmas to you Smiley

It's been a busy time for me with the move and the only thing I was able to finish is this tree skirt.

The pattern is in Quilts and More winter 2007 issue.

Thank you all for the kind and encouraging words to finish a few things earlier and Thank you stoliedina for an awesome Craft-along!

Hoping all your Christmas dreams come true Grin
