And crafty crusaders: I have a question. I am making homemade marshmallows for some people, but I am at a loss for how to package them. Any ideas??

Guess what? I've been stalking this thread since January, but I could never find the time or energy to actually MAKE something - until now! I finished 4 (YES FOUR!) Christmas gifts today! Yay!

The first 3 are bookmarks in different colors.

I especially like the brown/turqouise one.

The 4th is a set of coasters - I love this tea fabric! It was a gift from my aunt and I've been looking for a project for it - what better than a set of coasters?

Thrilled to be participating in the Christmas craftalong at last!  Grin Grin

I made some pomegranate jelly yesterday, but it turned out less than good. Way to sweet and more sauce than jelly. Next try: dulce de leche!

I finished all my xmas stockings, made soap for my older two kids, still working on my mom's purse...

photographic evidence:

I also made my very first pumpkin roll!! And it's Gluten Free!! Holla!

However it just hit me that I didn't make anything for my 15-month old and I'm having some SERIOUS guilt over it. So now I feel like I need to figure out something to make her in the next oh...24 hours.

Dude - did you knit those stockings? If so, you are a goddess!

Christmas crafting has come to a total halt here - I have been laid out sick since yesterday morning! SO MANY THINGS TO DO!!!

yes I knit them, I've been knitting them since October  Shocked ! I'm so glad they are done.

...and about two hours ago (12 AM EST) I finally thought of something small and quick I could make for my 15 month old. I made her crayons out of old crayons and used the same soap molds as the older kids' gift. They are in the freezer now getting..uh...freezie. I only made her two and she will probably just try to eat them but it's done and nontoxic ha ha.

I am so so sorry you aren't feeling well!

and another thing you HAVE to keep this going through 2010. I found you guys too late this year!

I second that, the stockings are amazing!

My Christmas crafting has hit a wall too...I'm not the one who's sick, but my 3-year-old is down and between her and the newborn, I just don't have time!  I'm hoping to squeeze out the final things in the evenings when hubby's home to help.

I did finish the two canopies I was working on for my cousins' kids...and just in time since we exchanged gifts this past Saturday!

They have 3 boys apiece, and this is good for a nice range of ages.  One already said it's going in the reading orner.
