I have some Christmas crafting to show! This is totally a year of knitted gifts for me...

My brother requested a new hat for my baby nephew Aaron. The requirements were blue...and earflaps. This is what I came up with:

I am obsessed with how cute the pom-pom came out!

Hello every one! I've been doing a little crafting with technology. I wasn't able to finish my own theme back in March of "Making Memories" and I'm trying to complete the project in time for Christmas. I finally finished formatting family photos for a memory game following directions from Alicia Paulson's book, Stitched in Time. Here is an example of a finished set from the Stitched in Time Flickr Group: http://www.flickr.com/photos/92535563@N00/3534655399/in/pool-stitchedintimebook My nieces and nephews on the hubby's side of the family all live very far away from us. We only see each other about once a year, twice if we're lucky. So, I thought it would be nice for two of the little ones in the family to have a memory game set with all of our family members in it, so that our faces remain familiar, even though we do not see each other too often. I typed our names into each photo too, since they are each probably learning to read.

Once the photos were edited, I had to put all of them into one document, with specific spacing to create a border. Not gonna lie, it made my brain hurt a bit. Formatting is not my friend! But thank goodness the hard part is over and done with! Now I just have to buy a new ink cartridge so that I can actually print the photos out!  Grin

I've been really bad about posting my pictures and in some cases even taking them. Here's what I have done since my last post:

Burp cloths and a blanket, round two, for my niece on the way:

I've also finished all my bath salts and labeled them, I just need to put the fabric on the tops of them.

I LOVE the baby hat! I really wish I could knit or crochet...there are so many things I aspire to have for me or my kids but I just can't seem to catch on. I have a few more things done that I need to post pictures of. Also a zillion more projects in the making. How many days til Christmas?Huh Grin

Also, the burp clothes are very cool! Did you just sew a band of fabric on a prefold (or whatever they're called)?
