Here is all of my holiday baking/cooking! I provided a link for the recipes when I could find them on the Internet. Just click on the names to access them.

Skittles Vodka

Angelettis

Breton Cookies
(The recipe is from Martha Stewart's Baking Handbook and I couldn't find it on her website)

Candy-Stripe Cookie Sticks
The batch pictured here doesn't have stripes because I eventually got tired of doing them. They tasted good, but weren't really worth the effort).

Springerle Cookies

Grand Marnier Truffles

Here is how I packaged them:

I also made this cake for my family's Christmas party:

Christmas Chocolate Cake
(The video in the link is in French only, sorry!)

and on the 24th my mom made these mashed potatoes Snowmen, which I thought were too cute not to post:

All in all, my handmade gifts were very well-received because my friends and family actually saw me make some of them and realized the amount of effort that I put into them. I'm very happy about that and I can't wait to start next year's crusade!  Smiley

The snowmen are the CUTEST! I'm guessing their noses are carrot fragments, but what are their eyes made out of?

Cheesy Kiss  I can't drink, but if I could, I would be trying to make myself some of that 'Skittles Vodka' RIGHT THIS MINUTE!  Mmmmm...hmmmmmm....!

Love the little snowmen!

Cosmo_mouse, those crayon rolls are great and the loaves look yummy!

I really hope to be able to participate more in 2010 as well. I even have a plan: My sis mentioned that all her Christmas tree ornaments were cheapo ones from IKEA (this is the first time she's had a tree at her place) so I decided right away that she's getting a set of home made ornaments next Christmas. I should be able to make at least one every month!

Their eyes are made of pink pepper.  Smiley

cosmo, I love how you made beautiful labels for everything!!

Thanks  Smiley, I knew if I didn't for the scarfs I'd get a comment along the lines of why have you got me a heap of wool  Tongue

Thanks karin_, I'm glad they were well received.
