I made this a while ago, because I was curious how my bird, a female zebra finch would react if one of her eggs hatched (she dose not have a mate so her eggs are sterile), so I sculpted a life-sized hatchling and stuck it in her nest. It absolutely freaked her out Shocked, she nearly fell off of her perch when she first looked in her nest and saw it lol. Cheesy Then she stood on her perch looking in for the longest time refusing to go in until I took it out. Tongue




as soon as she looked down and saw what she was standing over she flew off Grin

That's the funniest thing that I've seen all day. I don't know what a baby bird REALLY looks like, but when I saw your sculpture... I thought it was real and kept thinking "Why is this on craftster? Sure, its cute but..." Then I read the text and just laughed.
