I wanted to share this with you guys - the Simply Knitting knit pattern for Little Big Planet's Sack Boy is up online for free.
The Sun newspaper and Simply Knitting got together and posted the pattern - for free.
Here is the link!

That comes courtesy of the Sun newspaper over in the UK as seen here.... just cut out the middleman for you guys but just in case you were curious where it came from here it is...

I am going to be relearning to hand knit because of this pattern.  My family adores Sack Boy and LBP.  I was going to crochet him up today  but hmmm... I think I will wait a week or two and knit the little dude up myself instead... I have other things to work on right now anyway - and this will give me a reason to break out my massive stash of knitting needles I was holding on to for swapping with people.. I guess I will be keeping them now, aye? Cheesy

Thanks for the link. I wanted to buy this issue just for that pattern, but now I don't have to.

I was going to as well but am really glad that someone sent me the link so I just had to share it - I even put it in my signature line!

The entire family here is all about LBP!

I'm just happy to be able to share the pattern with you guys.
I keep saying I am going to design a crocheted one and post the pattern here but I have yet to find the time.  I keep working on other projects.  Maybe one of the people who already did it can post theirs...... we'll see.. hand knitting is out of my league right now but I do hope to learn just to make one in knit!
