Ah, the middle two images are showing for me, they weren't before...  they make the whole package even prettier!!!

I just opened astormorray's package, and I LOVE IT!  Look at what she sent to me.  It's a catnip mouse made from a tidbit of red yarn that she had in her stash.  Her note says he's stuffed with second cuts from a fleece she's been spinning, and he has a little heart bead inside (it's a family tradition, based on Raggedy Ann).  ALSO included was a really cool hand-carved wooden stamp that I adore!

Thanks, astormorray.  It's perfect!

That stamp is nifty, I didn't know you could do wood stamps!

I didn't actually make that one, though I have in the past... I picked it up at a yard sale, and it was in my bag of swap treats/extras (huh, I wonder if other people do that?) It's not a wood stamp, it's a linoleum stamp mounted on wood.  Sometimes you can buy the linoleum premounted, then carve it away, or sometimes people carve linoleum, and then glue it to the wood.  I think this was most like the latter situation.

I got home from an AWFUL day (BAD day with the kids at work, then a dentist appt BLECH!) and got my package from Dustpan Dan! That sure helped my mood!
She send me a GREAT neclace and earrings set with a pretty card. The jewelry is beautiful! It has beads with warm tones of brown and she MADE the chain for the neclace! I LOVE the chain! I can't immagine how sore her fingers are! I can't wait to wear it! I have a brown sweater with several shades in it and think the jewelry will be PREFECT with it!
Sorry I can't post pics tonight, my camera died last weekend, but I'm going to the parents tomorow and if I can't take pics there I'll get to my BF's house to take and post by the weekend.
Thanks again Dustpan Dan!

I am addicted swaps, including personal swaps!

Woo! Awesome stuff so far!

I got my package from gerbilgal last night, but I had a bunch of stuff do do last night so I didn't open it until today, which is actually great because today's my birthday!

Here are the awesome slippers I got! I am wearing them right now!

I love those slippers... SO MUCH!

Well Valsped's camera is busted so I offered to put up the pictures I took of my swap package.  Here it is... a beaded necklace with a handmade chain and earrings to match!

The necklace:

The earrings:

And a detail:

I had fun taking pictures with my new macro lens.  Heh heh.
