I started this Chain Chomp hat for my boyfriend even before he was my boyfriend.  We were hanging out a lot & I was talking about knitting & he said he wanted me to knit him a toque.  He's a video game nerd, so I knew that the Knitting Ninja's Chain Chomp hat would be perfect.  The only real change I made was to increase the size of the needles used (because my boyfriend has a big head!).

I guess I did a decent job, cos he hardly every takes Chompy off now   Cheesy

Oh lordy, I can think of like five people I'm going to have to make this for (and me too).  So glorious in all it's geekiness!  Thanks for mentioning the knitting ninja (great name); I googled and found the pattern.  Happiness.

And, yeah, no wonder he's your boyfriend now . . .

Love it!  I may even be able to make one out of my stash.

Wait, I don't think I have white yarn.  Alas.
