bracelet was my first thought as well
but also:
attach them to small drawers (as handles)
use instead of numbers on a clock (if you've got atleast 12)
um... okay, I'm out, but I'm sure there  must be much more

Two ideas- 1) you could fill a jar with them to put out as a conversation piece (I did so at my office-  lots of odds and ends in mason jars... it turned out very interesting) or, 2) put some well-chosen words together in a shadow box, on a ledge, on your window sill, on top of a thick frame, etc. for people to read.  I love working with text... start by combining two or three words that are not a sentence but sound cool together and find some place to set or glue these.  Stick them in groups or singletons in with your other knick-knacks.  To find more, look in thrift stores in the games area (sometimes in with the kids stuff).  I see these games every once in a while.
