ok, this has nothing to do with this swap but has anyone got any tips for working with #10 crochet cotton? Im meant to be making a garter (for a wedding nect month!  Shocked not mine) but the stuffs freaking fiddly  Undecided and I cant get the chain to lie flat

Finished all my part and pieces -- just stuffing, joining, and feature stitching left.  I am definitely ahead of schedule - but may not have a chance to do any more this week so that is a good thing.

It generally requires blocking -- and sometimes starching to fix that if you have any length of exposed chain. 

If there are points or sections like on this


you just kind of tug on them to get them into place

No - I think you just get used to it -- I guess I have done so much with #10 that it doesn't seem difficult to me
