lol, fun fur I dont find too evil, then again, if I mess it up I just make sure I have the right amount of stitches and keep going  Tongue  Wink  Cheesy no one ever knows but me  Grin

Hit a hard part in the pattern last night, got the other hard part sorted (I ended out half following the pattern and frogging 4 times  Cheesy ) no to work out how I got from 27 stitches to 36 (or what ever the amount actaully is) without actually decreasing! urgh *bangs head on desk*

Now that I am finished with the few swaps that have an earlier deadline than this one, I am ready to start My amigurumi for Longtimegeek.  I will go through my patterns and pick one out, then I will check my stash to see if I have a good color for the pattern I choose.  I should definitely be able to start this weekend.  I'm psyched.

Cool -- I'm psyched too.

I have arms complete - plan to get a start on legs tonite -- definitely on track to finish.  The original yarn I had planned was completely wrong so I went with the plan B yarn and it is super.  It is behaving exactly like it needs to.

I was waiting for a package all day on Wednesday and it never came, but I got my swap ami started. I'm expecting another delivery on Tuesday, so I'll have plenty more time to craft then!  I can't wait to get further along to see how it turns out. I think it's larger than I've anticipated, but that's not a bad thing, right?

Grrr...

This pattern just isn't working at all.   Huh

I think I am going to try it again today, but creating my own pattern as I go.

As long as its not fun fur!  Ahhh!  I have gave up on that crazy mess of yarn.  Its only good old regular yarn for me.

I keep saying the same thing.  Until the next project comes along, and I decide to use fun fur/eyelash yarn.   Cheesy   I like a challenge!

I'm just about done with the first part.  Just needs a few minor details added, and I've already started the second part.  For knowing how to crochet since I was 8, I've never created my own pattern.  This is my first!  YAY!

I'd have to say that's not a bad thing.  (but I am your partner   Grin)

So I was getting very frustrated with the pattern I had found, the yarn I was using, etc.  I had to stop at JoAnn's today to pick up some yarn for another project and found a type of yarn I don't normally use (boucle' - I hate boucle' normally)...however, this particular skein of boucle' called out to me.  I bought it with this swap in mind and have been crocheting like a madwoman since I got home.  I still don't particularly like boucle' but this yarn itself is very pretty and is lending itself very well to the pattern I am creating as I go along.   Cheesy

I sure do hope my partner likes it!

Wow - that worked up really quickly once I got started.  Is the test of goodness for an amigurumi how much you want to keep it when you are done?   Cheesy
