That is super awesome....unfortunately I think I would have to use monopoly money because I can find a whole slew of things to use $170 on.

I love it!

This is great.  Do you have a pattern or some kind of folding instructions for it?  I love origami and money folding, and would like to try this.

I did it just like the "candy wrapper" purses.  One webpage I found helpful was http://candywrapperpurse.blogspot.com/2007/08/chip-wrapper-purse.html

You can also google "candy wrapper purse instructions" and find a bunch of other sites.

Then I just sewed on the plastic handles with green yarn.

lmao!!! I used to say to my friend when we were young that I didn't like buying wallets because once I've paid for it I'd have nothing to put in it ....

this seems to take that to extremes!! I'd be so afraid I'd loose it!!

Ohhh you are crazy! (In a good way) I can also think of many ways to spend $170, and since it's American it's even more to me! *faint* lol

Thanks.  I checked the link that you posted.  I think I like yours much better.  I might practice with monopoly money before I do the real thing.

No, it's not lined...the dollar bills are actually pretty thick all folded up.  I wanted to leave it so that it's easy to rip apart when I want the money back Smiley

I would have some serious restraint problems making that.  I would keep taking dollars off of it until there were only handles left.

It looks quite awesome though.

I loved the site you linked to.  I think I want to try it with Monopoly money or even nice scrap book paper.

I love it! Wow! My husband would kill me Cheesy LOL! I would not be able to go out with that bag on my arm, I would be so afraid that it would get stolen. I can hear the police officer now: "How much money did you have in your purse, Ma'am?" (Would carrying that bag constitute entrapment?)

Definitely unique, and I remember making those gum wrapper chains as a kid. Please write back and let us know what people say when you venture out with that bag. It's got to be the perfect casino bag.

Well I hope you aren't one of those ladies that leaves her purse in the cart while she shops!  At least that's a good investment in a bag, you'll "get your money back" when you are done with it.

At $170 it is cheaper than some of those Couch bags that are so popular - and more original!
