I couldn't just give our friends' new baby home-made clothing in plain wrapping paper, could I?

Oatmeal drum + wrapping paper + foam core + gold spray paint + detailing=

(as modelled by DH)

I'm told it was good to the last drop!

Even proud papa (of recipient) couldn't resist

I used foam core cut into circles to build up the nipple shape, then sprayed it gold.  I added ml measurements using electrical tape.  It made for a great presentation!

Hope you enjoyed it.  Be sure to

I always crack up at your posts.  You do such cool projects, and your hubby seems to have so much fun hamming it up and modelling for you!  You two are awesome.

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Your husband stole the show! ha ha ha!!  Too funny!  I almost didnt look at the bottle!  Your idea was great and it looks like it could hold a lot of stuff!
Congrats!

It did; it held a little outfit I made for the kiddo: an appliqued onesie, a reversible jacket, and matching pants:

Oh my gosh!  Ha ha ha ha ha!  I love this, the baby bottle to put the present in is a great idea.  And I love the pictures of your hubby modeling.  Very funny.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
