had a busy week with work and my daughter had her wisdom teeth out so havent had a chance to check in a couple of days.

Your poor daughter! I hope she handles it better than I did! I was a total baby!

yeah she was really scared. i went in to theatre with her while she went to sleep, the anaethatist was really scarey he looked like he had had too much plastic surgery and had that fixed startled stretched face look.
definitely spooky.and the fake tan wasnt helping him 
yes her face ballooned up even with icing her heaps. but she hasnt been too sore we kept up the pain relief and antiinflammatorys.
so her school id photos are due in 2more days so fingers crossed it starts to go down! she says she isnt going back till it does!
she is my eldest but it was still scarey having your kid go under the knife even for  just teeth.
i remembered my own time was horrible too.
no wonder parents of kiddies at the hospital i work look so stressed they are all so much sicker and younger.

I remember I had mine extracted when I was like 10 or 11 before I got braces so them coming in wouldn't run thousands of dollars of orthodontry    I remember it sucked, but I got to take them home that day and the tooth fairy put $5 under my pillow that night LOL!

yeah thats why she had to have them out, she has had braces but they are off for now, back on later after she has jaw surgery apparently, later on when she is 18. I have spent thousands but her jaw isnt growing great though i think she looks pretty and many say so. anyhow after the wisdome teeth operation she isnt that keen now lol so i who knows what will happpen.
i had my wisdom teeth out too yrs ago, so painful! typical, hubby never got his.  i remember having worse bruising so my daughter is recovering well though she is swollen like a beach ball!

you know what, the first thing i asked was did they save the teeth to show us when dad bought her home, but they thought i was wierd. i am so glad you said you saved yours! oh well saved tooth fairy a trip lol. we have a follow up appointment on tuesday so maybe the surgeon saved them to show us.

I have had braces on for 17 months , i get them off in september i hope. I am so sick of them.

I had my wisdom teeth out at age 25. All 4 were impacted. The top ones weren't bad, but the bottom ones were miserable. The stitches on one of my bottom ones came out the day after surgery and I ended up with an infection. Not fun. But I'll take 2 weeks of pain and misery over years of braces any day! I feel for all you guys that had to deal with braces- that sounds like the absolute worst!
