Sounds like we are having the same kind of week guineverefree!

I was a little late getting started Tuesday and when I got to my Post Office they had the window closed for lunch...so I couldn't get anything mailed. I figured I would hit them again after running my errands...but the weather got bad with what we call "White Out" snow....cause you can't hardly see for all the snow blowing around...so I just came straight home.

Then we were snowed in the next day. Today to be honest...I just wasn't able to drive. I don't know what happened...I woke up the other day with some serious knee pain and I have had trouble walking for days! Now my arms and other leg are really really sore from taking up the slack of my bad leg...if that makes any sense...lol. I'm a mess!!  Shocked It was probably ok that I had those few days though because I just can't quit tweaking my items...I think i'm having first time swap anxiety  Undecided

I am determined to make the mail tomorrow!! Weather seems like it is going to be ok and all the roads are cleared by now.

Oh...I couldn't get a good pic of my new little doggy because my cam only takes decent pics outside and it is just to cold for him out there...but here is bad pic of him...lol. I tell ya...i'm in love Wink

Just wanted to let all my partners know, i have sent.
I got all my parcels posted today.
I have been sick last couple of days, so sorry i am a day late sending out.
anyhow i hope you all get them soon.
i posted at the central postoffice where international mail is sent from so that will
give it a quicker send off.

rain  has been bucketing down here with roads locally and down south flooded.
shops running out of food but hoping the trucks will be able to get through this week.

Way down south in victoria, they are fighting bad bush fires, my aunty stayed with her place and saved it with her mil. both 60 and 90+ so its a miracle they managed to keep the embers off the house with wet feed bags. their tank water had dried up just about. dangerous many died trying to save their houses.its pretty terrible in victoria, where most of our extended family live. a lot of people have lost houses over 750 and nearly 200 lives lost so far.

locally a 5yo was taken by a crocodile this week also

so a bad week here in australia

Wow, Cyndi, that's terrible news  Embarrassed  I trust things will look up soon though, my thoughts are with you and your family.

The last 4 of my items went out yesterday, 2 were international, but I trust they will arrive quickly!

As soon as I heard about the fires in australia I went and googled your locaton cindiq, since youre the only australian I know. I was relieved to see you were ok.

guineverefree, Im a little worried about your package to me, Its DC number has listed it as delivered for at least two days now but its not here.  Sad and all other americans you shipped to have recieved. If I dont get it tomorrow Im going to nag my post office on friday!

don't worry, it only says processed when I look it up with the dcn, and it's at a raleigh facility it's prolly just in the process of being forwarded if you didn't happen to get my new address when I sent it out to everyone, I had to get a PO box, long story, anyways, deannalynns bay was "delivered" for like 2 weeks b4 i saw hide or hair of it.  maybe it'll show up tomorrow Cheesy

I'm sorry Goosegg1001! I hope it's just a post office glitch. I used to have packages that said delivered for days that would finally end up on my doorstep, I'm hoping that's the case with yours!!
