Man it feels weird typing "09" already, but it'll be weirder in 2010
Sounds so futuristic.
Anyways, on to the yarn. I've found my camera again. Yay!

My first corespun - and it's crazy!

Handpainted faulkland

Hand carded merino. This one when knitted, would go slowly from red, to orange, lime, teal then blue along the entire project.

Spun from handpainted merino

A mix of natural and earthy colors

and lastly, candy colored handpainted merino. I have two skeins of this one, and I haven't decided if it's going to become a hat or a shrug.

Beautiful!  Really love the natural/earthy color!

I've been spinning and knitting/crocheting but not taking pictures ....

Those look lovely!  I especially like the transitioning yarn.

Here's what I've been up to:

This is a mystery wool and mohair fiber that I dyed with kool-aid several years ago and finally got around to spinning.  It has been skeined up, but I love being able to see all the colors in this picture.

I did my first soysilk.  It was really messy to spin, but the results were well worth it.

This is another mystery wool which I kool-aid dyed several years ago and finally got around to spinning.  I love that it's constantly striping!  This picture shows off the color range best.

And finally, this is a mix of four corridale pastels.  The twist is setting as we speak.

EDIT:  The other thing I got around to finishing before Friday ended is this yarn:

the pink ball is where the neckwarmer came from. most are all just uiwool, the grey is bamboo.

Happy New Year!!!!

This is the first time that I have posted in Fiber Friday. It was lurking in this thread that got me interested in spinning in the first place.

So here is the last skein that I finished...I call it Carousel

And here is a small skein finished from mystery wool that I got in a swap. I can't think of a name for this one besides "Pepto"  Cheesy
