on a trip to hawaii island last summer, i picked up a burlap coffee bag from one of the coffee farms i visited.  i used the burlap to create this lined/zippered tote bag!   this is my first attempt at zippers too...i'm pretty happy with the results.  what do you think?

Oh my gosh! I am so full of Envy! My daughter said that I could make one like that, but like I told her, it's not the tote bag part, it's the coffee bag!
Congratulations on a terrific bag!

hi, i was looking up burlap sewing tips and came across your project. i really like the way yours turned out! can you give me some tips on how you sewed it? like, is there a special kind of thread or size needle you used? did you use interfacing at all?
any help would be much appreciated!
