My sister's boyfriend makes metal sculptures out of pieces he finds in junk yards or dumpsters. He made an elephant for my sister last year and I've been bugging him to make something for my garden. So for Christmas I got a tin man! His body is made of two shovels, his face of a toaster oven tray, two spoons and a butter knife, his arms are two whisks from an electric beater. He's going in my garden as soon as the weather turns!

He doesn't have an account but I wanted to share some photos with craftsters:

That's really cute. My boyfriend welds, like for a living, he said he'd learn how to knit if I learned how to weld. This project may have just pushed me over the edge.  Grin
