The restaurant I work at displays a bunch of original artwork by a Miami artist named Carl Meyers.  There is one piece that is a man's face that is made out of google eyes that I have coveted since the first day I saw it.  Since a several thousand dollar piece of art is not exactly in the budget right now, I have only been admiring it from afar.

Then, one day a couple months ago while trying to decide what to put up on the wall in my new dining room, I thought why can't I just make something like that. So combined with my love for Bob Dylan, this piece was born.  It is a 24X30 canvas.  It actually turned out to be a fairly fun activity while watching TV and I may end up doing a few smaller pieces for a friend of mine.

That is really really neat! What did you use for the solid black part, just paper?
Looks time consuming!  Wink

I picked up a canvas at the craft store when they were having major pre christmas sales and painted it with black acrylic paint before I started.
