My little cousin has to complete a quilt square for one of the gymnast that's graduating this year.  What would be the cheapest and most original way to decorate the quilt square?  What ways have ypu used?

I love embroidered crazy-quilted squares, but that's just me.  Are there guidelines for her?  And what are her crafty skills?

You might try posting this on the quilting board as well.   Grin

Depending on how little "little" is, I'd say fabric crayons.

Does it have to be decorated only or is it supposed to be sewn?  If it's decoration only, I agree with fabric crayons.

If it should be a sewn block, what about a simple 9-patch in the school's colors?  You could also do an easy 2009" appliqu with some WonderUnder.
