Well
I'm a longtime lurker on Craftster. All the projects on here are fabolous! (grr- can't spell that word ever)
So...
I live in Barbados, an island in the Caribbean and my mom's "mother" (she's actually just a really close friend that's like family) came to visit from New York in August. I last saw her when I was 6, and now I'm 15.
So of course I was super happy to see her and her birthday was going to be down here. So I wanted to make her a super cool birthday present. She knits and I crocheted (Now that I thik of it, she could have thought me! =/)

Please excuse the bad pictures, the sun was really bright in the room and my camera didn't take to that.

It's a little doll!
I made it out of some white wool and he has a little hat from yellow wool. I attempted a pashmina/scarf and that's yellow too.I made him some little socks/shoes as well, but they sadly kept coming off so i scrapped that.
So I got some buttons and made him some eyes, a belly button and a mouth.
And I thought he was a little plain, so I strung him a little rainbow belt from some new beads I had hanging around.
 haha! Cute, isn't he?

He's now in Pulaski, New York somewhere, with my grandma. She absolutely loved him!

I'm a beginner and this is the first toy that I made. What do you think?
Thanks! Smiley

I think he's great! You did a great job, especially for a first toy! Keep up the great work.

Much Thanks!
I'm thinking of making one for my friend's birthday in February. Probably in a mad colour such as red or orange. Maybe I could make some Jonas brother ones! Roll Eyes
