I saw some people were looking around for a new topic for this year!  Cheesy
So if you want to join, here's for your chatter and pictures and encouragement.

What are your planned projects?

Are you following any monthly/seasonal themes?

Also, here's last year's thread for inspiration!

I'm in again this year! I didn't make it to 50 in 2008, but I enjoyed the challenge.

This year, I plan to start off with some Christmas crafts I didn't get to create for myself before the day actually got here (at least they'll be done for next Christmas). The holiday season seemed to go by in a flash, and I've still got some Christmas spirit left.

I also hope to knit each of my family members and myself a pair of socks (minus my nephew - he's 4 and growing like a bean stalk) - 8 pairs total - for next Christmas.

And I'll also be continuing the collaborative quilting project I started with a friend in October '08, so there will be at least 10 individual quilt squares in my future this year.

I am very sorry to anyone wishing to look at the pictures that I have previously posted. Photobucket deleted my account without warning.  :/

3. a watchman stuffie of sorts.
4. baby onesies for a friend.
5 a new ninja scarf for me.
6 a quick everyday shrug to throw on.

Welcome everyone! Grin
I'm about to start an altered journal, and I'll bet that that takes me well into this year. I'm also trying to draft some of my own patterns for skirts and pants. Oh and paint my room!

MidwestDiva - What is this ninja scarf of which you speak? It sounds intriguing...

I'm in.  Being new to craftster I wasn't in the 2008, but I plan on crafting like crazy this year.  My friend and I have planned to get together once a week to make our gifts for the year and also for the craft show we do together every December.

Here's the list as it stands now:
1.  Sugar skull quilt for me (I cut everything out last summer)
2.  Scrappy triangle quilt for me (I cut everything out last summer)
3.  Living room wall quilt
4.  Bedroom wall quilt
5.  Bedroom wall quilt holder (bought this antique headboard piece 4 years ago)
6.  Quilt for my sister
7.  9 Aprons (made 1 for my neice's Christmas gift and have now requests)
8.  Complete at least 1 of the quilt kits that my MIL bought for me (I've got 7 or Cool
9.  Some of those cute little bottlecap pin cushions
10. A crochet hook book
11. Quilt for mom
12. Ballband dish cloths (gotta learn how)
13. 2 DS holders (need 1 by mid-Jan for bday gift)
14. Birthday and Thank You cards (gotta refill my stash)

Not a bad start to a crafters to do list, eh.  I look forward to marking things off and see what everyone else is doing.  I'm especially interested in stashbusting ideas.  I've got tons of paper crafting stuff and a ton of fabric.  My friend is crocheting a blanket for me out of my stash of yarn for my birthday present.  That's 2 gifts in one.  My stash is gone and I get a new handmade blanket.  I love it!

It was a scarf I saw on threadbanger a long time ago. After worktoday I will look for it.  It's real simple. But the image of it still haunts me because I want it!
