I had been pondering on painting swans with a folksy kind of landscape.  I knew I needed something large to paint it on, then my wonderful dh brought me home the end of a countertop he had cut off.  It was perfect for what I had in mind.  This is 31" x 17".  Im very pleased with the way the swans turned out.  I think the landscape is okay, but I wish it had turned out better.  This is the first large painting Ive done in quite awhile.
