My mom is a nurse and loves Stephen King, so when I saw the new heart pattern, I knew I'd found the perfect idea for a Christmas gift for her:

The lettering looks a bit messier than it really is because of shadows and lack of ironing, but I wanted them to look handwritten and kind of creepy. I'm not sure if I succeeded or not...

I LOVE the heart!

I left the piece unfinished because I wanted my mom to pick whether she wanted it made into a pillow, or framed (she opted for the latter). She loves it!

Comments and critiques welcome. Thanks!

I love it! Is she going to keep it at work?
I have the heart pattern and an idea for what I want to do with it - is the colors you used anatomically "correct"? That is the part that is kinda stopped me so far.

auntiem - It's kind of hard to say - I looked at some pictures in Google Images for inspiration, but the design isn't exact, obviously, so there's a little fudge room in the vena cava arena. I tried to go for a blend of accuracy and aesthetics. Smiley

She's going to keep it in her library, actually. Smiley
