This looks great! I love the anatomical heart from that set. A tie is a wonderful idea, and I love how this came out. I can't believe you made the tie yourself, too - it looks sweet!

Is there an actuall pattern out there for these, and if so where can I find/buy them?

This is amazing by the way.

Thank you so much for the kind words everyone, I really appreciate them!!

I do use a hoop now (I didn't for awhile) and it's gotten better since I started using one, but I still think I stitch too tight. I gotta relax more, man! Wink

You could do what I do and have a little drinky (cuba libres anyone?) before I start a "session". Knitting I can have some during and sewing the drinks have to wait until after as a reward.

Very awesome tie!

Thank you, that is an excellent idea! Cheesy

Thanks! Here is the embroidery pattern I used, I bought it at a local fabric store: http://www.sublimestitching.com/vitalorgans.html

Very cool. I have a bunch of plain ties laying around, and now I'm very inspired to stitch 'em up.

Haha, every time I attempt to stitch after/while having a drink or two (which is usually every time, I'm always full of ideas while buzzed), I always have this vision of stabbing myself in the eye, even though I draw the needle veeerrrry much away from my face.
