soda cans, eh? what kind of bracelets do you make?

here's what i do Smiley

hm. well just click that link.

i use the colored side of the pop can to "engrave" (yeah, i just use a ballpoint pen and press hard) the can. but you have to do it backwards so that it shows up correctly on the reverse side.

I cut off the top and bottom of the can, then cut the remaining cylinder up the side and try and flaten it out a bit so you have a rectangle of aluminum. Then the world your oyster, or in my case starfish, boats and fish Wink.
I cut out the shapes, score scales and eyes for fish or planks and waves for boats with a dead ball point pen, then punch a small hole in the top and string them up with fishing line from wooden scewers as mobiles. Hang them from the ceiling over tvs or lamps and the rising warm air keeps them constantly moving. Cheesy

I don't know if you've ever to been to Jungle Bungle [[haha]] but in the play area there are these windows into the dining area, and there are little ledges underneath the windows made of concrete, so they take these squishy tubes, cut them veritcally and put them on the ledges so kids can't hurt their heads...you could kinda do the same thing...if you have like a full length mirror, you could cut off the bottom and cut once vertically and open them wide enough to put on the frame of the mirror

good luck with that

What can I do with a soda can? It's a drink called Pakola which they sell in Pakistan. I love the green color and the logo thingie and I don't want to throw the cans away. Any ideas?

i have do this with tons of cans with different colors or just great flavors: you can cut the top off with a can opener and use it for pens, pencils, etc.

When I was in junior high we made lamps out of pop cans.  We got a basic lamp kit, drilled a hole at the side of the bottom, put the lamp kit/cord in place, filled it with plaster or something like that, and let it all set up.  The one I made was with a Crystal Pepsi can, so it's like a lamp and a time capsule in one.  Just an idea....
