Maybe this will help a little-
For soft bunnies and puppies, and little people, Martha Stewart featured the editor of the book Sock and Glove and not only do they have a video, but they also have a tutorial with still photos (the comments after the video indicate that the video is a little different from the printed instructions, but can be navigable) To make other shapes you need to buy the book:
