Over the Autumn I became slightly obsessed with sock creatures, I was buying so many pairs at one point the women in my local clothes shop asked if I had a fungal infection.

Ethel & Dorothy the sock pigs

Vincent the lonely eebra

Lulu the lazy cow

Charlie Monkey

Harry the happy horse

Moko the shy monster

And this is just a fraction of how many I finished, thankfully my daughters wanted to give some out as Christmas presents and a friend of a friend bought some as well so we're not drowning in a sea of socks  but I have so many others in my head and many many pairs of Christmas socks....

The pigs are the cutest! I have just bought a book about making sock creatures and even bought some socks to get started on my own pigs, but I've had too much knitting to finish so haven't started. Your pics have encouraged me to put down the knitting needles and get on with the socks.

Aww...ain't that just the sweetest?  I love the oinkers!  Excellent job on the sock pattern selection as well.  Holstein cow patterned socks...? Who knew? Grin
