I started this project back in the summer but only finally finished it for Christmas, you know how things go. My niece just had her first birthday, so she was more interested in the bow that was on the box, but everyone else really liked it.

All the pages pre-assembly:

A couple favorites:

All put together:

Cover(A for her name and animals):

The blue lines are from the transfer that refused to wash out no matter how hard I tried.

Thanks for checking it out!

That is such a sweet gift.

I feel your pain about the transfer pens - mine won't wash out either... Undecided

so super cute!

sorry to hear about your transfer pen woes, is it because it was used on felt?  i use dritz brand and, knock on wood, haven't had a problem with the lines washing out, but then again i've only used the pen on cotton fabric

This is cute.  I keep meaning to make Aria a book but its on the neverending to-do list.  I was going to buy some crinkly paper and those refill squeakers for dog toys and insert them into one of the pages for extra sensory fun!  I love that you embroidered the animals and the initial...I was planning on just using my machine to do quick sewing...I'm not exactly the most patient crafter BUT I love the look on your book!

Thats really cute.... I'm really loving that hippo

It doesn't look bad at all with the blue, it adds some highlighting and character to it Smiley I have similar problems with transfer, I always figured it wass just me...

I think it was a combo of being on felt and that it was a vintage iron-on transfer.
