I've been collecting a lot of vintage material lately and decided to use it for a new fedora design. It took me 2 nights and a lot of scrap fabric to get a shape I was finally happy with but it was worth all the effort. Both are made with vintage wool plaid. The first one has 1 peacock tail feather and 3 chest feathers and the second one has 3 turkey feathers with iridescent tips. I added a furry plush fabric to the inside brim of the houndstooth one to give it a wintery look. I love them both so much!

These are sweeet! I would love to be able to make something like this. Not that I would wear one but they are really neat. Great work! did you use a pattern or just make it up on your own?

Thanks everyone! And yes, the pattern is my own. I usually just start pining shapes of fabric to my head until I get a general idea of a shape, then sew them together, then make modifications from there. These are both version #6!
