Blue Fleece & Brown Flowers & Buttons... Oh My!

He he, just whipped this up this evening after a particularly long day at work. I often daydream of what I'm going to make on the sewing machine when I get home.







Okay, enough with all the pics... sorry

Do you think the flowers look okay with all the frayed edges or does it just look sloppy? Should I use some sort of interfacing on them if I do this project again?

I love the colors and the simple shapes -- I also love frayed applique, have done several things like that, and they just get better with age.  I say leave it, and do more like that!

This looks really cute!  The frayed edges look cute too.  I'd love to do some of these on a piece of felt for a wall hanging

I think the frayed edges suit the material that the flowers have been made out of, so go with it!

I love it, the colours, the buttens, the frayed edges... and I know those daydreams, but my problem is (like the dreams I have at night) I forget about them too quickly

Lol, I call it a neckwarmer but it could be a "cowl" too.

That's lovely. I personally love the frayed edges--very quaint.
