It occurred to me quite late at night that the bear snowflake would be a good idea. I've since become sort of addicted to making these snowflakes

This one is an homage to one of my favourite eras, Buddy Holly and the glasses themselves, because I love them all so.

Anyone familiar with the Colbert Report will understand. Bears are the number one threat to America! Cheesy I don't actually live in the U.S of A, but I'm sure they're up there on our list too.

This one took me forever and a half to finish 'cause it was so delicate, but I'm rather fond of the way it turned out : )
Some of them are a little messy : / By the time I was finished, however, I didn't want to fix them...
I'd love to hear any opinions you have!

Super Neat!! They are all cool! I am in love love love with the cherry branches one, it is gorgeous! I am also a fan of the other two though. Everyone loves Buddy Holly, right? And I think your idea for making his glasses is really cool. Oh and we mustn't forgot about BEARS! lol. So cute!

They're awesome - did you use a craft knife rather than scissors?

Thanks! I did; I love, love, LOVE my x-acto knife.

Lulz, thanks. I was actually more frustrated by cutting through 8 layers of paper at once. The cherry branch one took the longest, by far. It took, I'd guess 2-3 hours. The glasses took no time at all, only half an hour at most.

What a super, original idea and they're so intricate!  I love them, if I were you I'd be framing them and putting them up on my wall.

These are so cool! I can't wrap my head around how you make them...
I can't even make paper snowflakes look like snowflakes.
